The brownies I baked yesterday are very delish, and, given the prices of bought treats in the area of my office, good economic sense.  I would say that the chocolate was the most expensive part, but butter has been getting crazy expensive in the city lately.  I'm guessing that the bodegas and local supermarkets are jacking butter prices along with the milk prices.

This makes me twitchy about my prospects for finding employment when I relocate in the fall.
