EEEEEK!

My wee mousie is back.  I heard scrabbling sounds in the kitchen around 7 this morning, and then spent the next half hour banging on cupboards and the oven to convince it to go back down it's hideyhole.  So far no luck.  I've emptied the utensil drawer and put down a glue trap in it, since it seemed it was scrabbling in that general area for quite a bit ... maybe when I get back from yoga he'll either be gone or trapped.  Time to get after the super again to seal up any holes behind the appliances. 

I don't have time for this!  Cleaning out those cupboards was on my to-do list for the day, but not if a mousie is going to leap out at me! *shudder*  How can I clean the cupboards with the broom in my hand ready to wack the mousie?

... I really need a kitty to come visit for a weekend.   Or just need a kitty.  I should reread the lease to see if they're really banned, or if that was just a verbal prohibition.  Can you have a kitty in a studio apartment without it becoming a total catbox?  And where would I put the catbox?
